Exclusively in the MAK Design Shop:
For these exclusive napkins, we searched the MAK's extensive Biedermeier collection. We found what we were looking for on a sample board from 1831 by the Viennese silk manufacturer Alexander Daumas . At Schaumburgergasse No. 373 he produced a wide selection of clothing, car and furniture fabrics, tablecloths and bedclothes on 150 looms. After the factory was closed, the sample boards were transferred to the MAK archive.
2 napkins per pack.
